Writing songs since the age of 10, Christine Jane has honed her craft. Citing a diverse range of influences through her love of blues, folk, soul and rock, her unique style is a blend of sounds which she calls 'cinematic blues'. She has been compared to artists such as Cat Power, Feist, Lana Del Rey, Neil Finn and Nick Cave.

Christine Jane has performed with various outfits (Peter Fenton, The Johnnys, The Apartments and Steve Clisby...etc...) at venues around Australia including The Factory Theatre, The Basement, The Surry Hills Festival, The Seymour Centre, The Toff In Town, The Queen Victoria Building, The Wharf, Hive Bar, The Lansdowne Hotel, FBi Social at Kings Cross Hotel, The Green Room, The Sydney Opera House and Red Light Confidential - a monthly night of burlesque, music, and magic at The Colombian Hotel.

She has made music for short films and television and continues to do so.
In 2011 she became one third of beloved  chamber pop band The Apartments and went on tour to release their sweet single BLACK RIBBONS (as heard LIVE on FBi radio).

Her much anticipated debut EP SINNERS COME & GO was released in 2012. Produced by Sean Power it features Jack Moffitt (The Preatures) on guitar and Eliot Fish (Big Heavy Stuff) on bass. It's available through Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more. The title track was featured on the LA web series 'Low Life' - a comedy about depression.

Her follow up single MAKE BELIEVE is a smoky acoustic number and was launched at FBi Social in June 2013. It's available for free at Bandcamp.

In August 2013 Christine Jane was chosen as one of the TOP 5 finalists in the band competition EXHUMED for ABC radio, TV and online, performing a sold out show at The Basement.

In 2014 Christine Jane completed a post grad cert in screen music The Australian Film Television and Radio School and continues to explore merging music with film. That same year she crowd-funded to record her debut full length record.

H E A D M I L E S was released in October 2015 and is available through Bandcamp, iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and at TITLE stores. The album has received glowing reviews and national airplay on ABC radio. Click through to the PRESS page to hear what Paul Gough had to say about the album on Radio National's The Inside Sleeve.
